Junior Associate - German desk

Tiberghien has a multidisciplinary approach and completes its tax advice with advice on family (patrimonial) law, family governance and compliance.

Have you obtained a Master's degree in Law, are you in the process of completing additional training in taxation or already have up to 2 years of experience and would you like to contribute to the further development of the German-speaking market? Then you are the candidate we are looking for.

You will be part of the Corporate Tax team, which offers a wide range of services including: day-to-day tax management for organisations; tax risk management; compliance processes; advice and support on tax audits and disputes; advice on corporate tax incentives, including tax incentives for innovation; tax aspects of ( Belgian and/or cross-border) corporate restructurings, including M&A, advice on private equity fund structures and management incentives; international corporate tax , including advice on double tax treaties; tax aspects of foreign entities in Belgium ( permanent establishments, profit distribution, compliance, etc), remuneration and transfer pricing,

For international tax issues, we can rely on an extensive global network of tax offices. This allows us to put together an appropriate international team for each case that always meets our clients' expectations.

What does our ideal candidate look like?

- You have a master's degree in law. An additional degree in taxation is a plus.
- You have maximum 2 years' experience.
- You have a perfect command of the German language both orally and in writing, and also very good communication skills in English and Dutch and/or French.
- You are able to make thorough legal analyses and provide practical solutions.
- You are a go-getter and work meticulously.
- You enjoy working in a team, but are also very independent.
- You are eager to learn, creative, persistent and discrete.
